El Mercado Vendor Series

Project Description

El Mercado is a monthly vendor event series that aims to promote local eatery, El Taller / Cafe Azteca, while supporting area small businesses, artists and makers. The event series takes place one Saturday per month and showcases a variety of vendors selling handmade, artistic products and services. Each month is curated around a different theme - from the vendors to the feature performances to the food specials of the day.

The primary goal of El Mercado is to promote a local restaurant and help drive traffic and business to the establishment. By hosting a monthly event, the aim is to create a sense of community and encourage people to support local small and micro businesses. Additionally, the event series aims to provide a platform for small businesses, artists, and makers to showcase their products and services and connect with potential customers as well as each other.

Vendors are highlighted on El Taller's social media and website. Promotion includes the business name, artist name, bio and links to their website and social media. Vendors are provided with digital promotional materials for their networks. Photos posted on social media and the website demonstrate the success of the individual events through the number of attendees/vendors and their shared enjoyment.
